I was born in Central Asia, in a region historically known as the Great Silk Road. My father was a famous craftsman of musical instruments. His studio and workshop were my favorite places to be, especially when musicians and singers were visiting him.
I was always inspired by the shapes and sounds of musical instruments. In my own little world, instruments themselves were something mysterious, because their sounds could make me feel happy or sad...
